I'm located in Seabeck, WA, little 10-acre hobby farm, horses, chickens, orchards, garden, quads, 3D archery range, 100-yard rifle range, 30-yard pistol range. Love the outdoors, love sharing it all with the kiddos and girlfriend. I especially love fly fishing, fine bourbon and good scotch and cigars. Love hunting and heading into the mountains leading a pack string...
Man, I was just talking to my dad about heading back to Seabeck. My family had a B&B there many years ago. In fact, from what I hear we were sort of a founding family for the region. Are you originally from there?

That's cool! I'm not originally from Seabeck, but I was born and raised in the neighboring community of Port Orchard, so yes I'm "from the area" but I've only lived in Seabeck for the past 10 years

Based in northern Italy, whenever I'm not working I usually tend to my dogs, hunt with them, and wrench on stuff like old diesel 4x4 and anything with an engine. I also love old cars mainly 70s and 80s and try to get better at shooting with poor outcome. Always down for helping friends with stuff to do and glass to empty

Never thought I'd see Seabeck mentioned anywhere. I grew up over on Lake Symington but I'm out past Gig now, beautiful area.

I split my time between Bentonville, AR (work), Stigler, OK (my retirement house), and WIlburton, OK (54 acres of hunting and fishing). I’ve got about a year left until I retire, so off time is mostly making sure everything is ready for when I do. Outside of that I shoot a lot, and work with my Malinois, Zohan.

Great photos!

We’ve got readers and subscribers scattered from the swamps of Florida to the mountains of Montana, and a few even further out. So let’s get a lay of the land.

Where do you call home base?
And when you’re off the clock, what’s your thing? Hunting, wrenching, fishing, forging, flying, sailing, training, tinkering, storytelling… whatever keeps you from staring at a screen too long.

Drop a quick note below. Photos are always welcome. Bonus points if your off-duty life looks like something we’d write a story about.
Shane;

Cody, Wyoming is where we've planted the flag. Been here over 5 years now. Best part is there has been no job or time clock to give a damn about since the middle of 2016. Im 58 and we really like to travel and hunt. My wife also likes photography and sometimes she'll travel just for that. We've been as far north as Prudhoe Bay on the North slope of Alaska, and as far south as the Cape of Good Hope South Africa.

I realized when I responded initially I forgot to add what I do when I'm not working. Primarily, I like to camp, hunt, and saltwater fish. I have caught or speared every kind of SoCal game fish except Swordfish and Dorado. Hoping to cross both of those off the list this year. I primarily hunt in the SoCal area (Big Bear) but have taken trips to Utah and Arizona for elk and pigs, respectively. I am also restoring a 2000 Land Rover Discovery 2. I've gotten it to the point where it's mechanically sound and will be getting it repainted in the near future. I'm a fan of good bourbon and good tequila.
If you ever want to bullshit on disco’s let me know. Seems like there is always a problem to solve. Mine is a 2001 but I also have a second one that’s purely a parts donor if you ever need something random.
