Were you with 1st Group and 19th during 2005-2006? I had a contract teaching them combatives during that time frame at JBLM and at the 19th Group facility.

I was not. I was still an Armor officer during that time and was deployed as Brigade Reconnaissance Team platoon leader in Ghazni, Afghanistan. I didn’t make it to 19th Group until 2013.

That's one hunt I'd like to do, Coues deer

I recommend it. We've had some proper adventures hunting coues deer. From Mojave rattlers to spending a whole night trying to get to the truck with our GPS down and packs full of meat. The Galiuro Mountains are a pretty gnarly place in general.
