I’m not nearly as well-traveled as The Godfather himself but here’s my two-cents
Serena Pastificio, Atlanta, GA - stellar pasta made in house, great ambiance. Homemade blackberry bourbon old fashioned was shockingly good.
Antebellum, Flowery Branch, GA - Old southern home, excellent food, stellar cocktails.
The Oyster & Thistle, La Conner, WA - nice pub near the water. Cool town to walk around as well.
St. Germain Bistro & Cafe, San Juan, PR - 3 story restaurant. First floor, good light food. Second floor, killer appetizers and cocktails. Third floor, helluva rooftop wine bar
This is exactly the type of stuff I’m looking for! Thanks!1) Gage and Tollner - if you ever find yourself in Brooklyn. Their Devils on Horseback are a great starter. Raw bar, steaks and bartenders that are true artisans of their craft.
2) Palmers Steakhouse - Hartland, WI - Great steaks and excellent bourbon selection in a classic WI supper club.
3) Vinegar Hill House - Brooklyn as well.
You and I have talked about Canlis before. That’s one of my all time favorites.Canlis, Seattle - spectacular dining, views, elegant, amazing.
Le Petit Boudin, just off the traffic circle at Arc D’Triumph, Paris - best paired wine meal ever.
Tina’s, Dundee, Oregon - tiny roadside bistro with killer wine list, fantastic farm to table menu.
The Dock, Newport Beach, CA - tiny and hard to find, tables are scarce, food is exceptional.
Antebellum is not too far from my place and I think that’s a good recommendation. I’ll have to try Serena Pastificio very soon.I’m not nearly as well-traveled as The Godfather himself but here’s my two-cents

Looking forward to checking at least one of these out. Thanks man!Neoria Fish Tavern in Chania Crete. Came out of nowhere. Best seafood lunch with a local wine.
Shima Steakhouse in Tokyo. Little hole in the wall in a basement. I’ve eaten more steaks in more places than most- this was hands down the best I’ve ever had.
Cantler’s Riverside Inn. Go by boat, order crabs and cold beer, down shift and enjoy.
B&GC is fantastic! If you’re in Denver for any reason, first off I’m sorry about Denver, second off..
Jovanina’s Broken Italian - incredible food.
B&GC - this is a legit speak easy in and you have to have a phone number / reservation to get into. They take you through the back of a hotel and down into the old mail room. All art deco 1930’s vibe. Great experience.
King of Wings - great wing spot. They sell out pretty frequently, so get there earlier in the day.
Buckhorn Exchange - never been personally but it’s the oldest restaurant / steakhouse in Denver and I think they sell Rocky Mountain Oysters if you’re into that.
I’m a big fan of Iowa for some weird reason. If you’re ever in Des Moines, try Zombie Burger & ShakeIf you are ever in Iowa here are some good spots.
Rusty Duck, Dexter IA (Looks and is a complete shit hole but food is great) The steaks I think are really good but the bacon cheese burger is so darn good that I wouldn't know.
Rubes Steakhouse Waukee IA. Its a cook your own steak place which is kind of a pain for the amount you are spending but I swear they have a deal with who ever they get their beef from. I don't think it can be beat.
White hominy is served as a side dish with one of my favorite dishes in Las Vegas. I wouldn’t sleep on it.Perini Ranch Steakhouse in Buffalo Gap, TX.
Fantastic steaks, and don’t sleep on the white hominy as a side.
