Daily, invite God into our lives again. Do some push ups and stretching at a minimum, have a coffee and a cigarette on the back porch with the morning birds. More important lately, in this political landscape clean up we get to enjoy, is to take inventory of what/where I AM going to do. There's just a ton of people /places/things we have ZERO control over, at the moment; focus on what I can control.
 
What is the one thing you do day in, day out that keeps you mentally/emotionally/physically/spiritually healthy?
Pray. Numero uno amigo! Followed by living as a Godly man of Faith, and doing everything I possibly can to surround myself with His glory in everything I do. May sound silly to others, but for me, it just makes MY life and my families life a lot easier and more fulfilling. Yes, there are plenty of stumbles and setbacks, but prayer drives me to happy life.
 
I take about 15 minutes each morning, ideally before sunrise to step outside and simply listen as the world wakes up. I walk off the back porch and let myself digest the quiet before the day asserts itself. The air is usually cooler, the noise is minimal, and it gives my mind a chance to settle and prepare for what’s ahead.

I do it regardless of the weather. Rain, biting cold, or oppressive humidity all seem to serve a purpose. A few minutes exposed to the elements has a grounding, almost primal reset effect. I sometimes imagine our ancestors doing the same thing…stepping out of a cave, lodge, or onto the deck of a ship, taking stock of the world before engaging with it.

I make it a point to do this before the first cup of coffee and before talking to anyone. No inputs, no conversations…just me and the world. I try to end the day the same way after sunset, though I’ll admit that doesn’t always happen.
 
Every morning starts with reading the Bible or doing some devotional before the sun rises - sets the tone for the day. After work, I lift weights and/or cardio of some sort. Then I soak in the hot tub , followed by a whiskey and a cold beer to wind down. I'm as good physically, emotionally, and spiritually at 52 years old as I've ever been.

Water/light therapy (18 hours of darkness here in NH is bitch) on wakeup
1.5 hours reading before work
Daily max plank, cold shower
15 minute NSDR
gym 4 days a week, sauna 4 days a week
Dinner at table with family as much as possible
Journaling/tracking what has been done, what needs to be done
phone/screens killed at 8:30PM
bed at 9:45-10:15pm
