Nothing special. Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec in stainless steel. I've shot plenty of 1911s but have never owned one until now. Given that this is NOT a carry gun, I wanted as close to authentic as I could find. When an acquaintance mentioned he bought this during COVD but never shot it, I decided it was time to bite the bullet (so to speak). If I make any changes, it will be to swap in a Wilson Combat beavertail and hammer.
