If it’s a bar that looks like they know what they’re doing, I’m expanding my horizons. 90% of the I’m going with a Ranch Water because it’s hard to mess up.

I generally drink my bourbon or scotch neat, room temp.. doubles or triples if they'll pour it.
If I'm feeling the society vibe, I generally like old fashioned's, Manhattans, and in the summer - mint julep's..

Have you had the Maker's Mark bottled Mint Julep? I'm usually not a fan of ready-made cocktails but if you poured that stuff over some good crushed ice and garnished it appropriately, I would put it up there with some of the better Juleps I've had. Can't beat the convenience.

I have not... Like you, I'm generally not a fan of ready made cocktails, but I do like Makers so I'll give it a try

A cocktail to me is a mixed drink. If I’m drinking bourbon or Scotch, I like it with a couple ice cubes and I’m good to go.

Yeah, wtf is with that? My local place just finally got it back in stock so I picked some up but it sold out quick. All of the yellow was still there but I've honestly never tried it. I always have enjoyed the green. Love the story and history behind Chartreuse.
