Bought this from a collection because it was just such a beautifully made knife. The makers name is JJ Virant from Weirton West Virginia (near my hometown of Mingo Junction Ohio). Tried for the longest time to track him down with no luck. The mirror polished blade is difficult to photograph. It has black micarta scales and brass guard. Photos don’t do it justice

Here is a bit of a rare bird. This is the Blade Tech Tim Wegner Porfessional Hunter Lite. This one was the budget version of this knife in lockback with polymer scales. I also have the higher end US made version with better steel, G-10 scales and a liner lock. Phenomenal design
those are fantastic little knives, I have a few Blade Techs and only wish I had more... Tim is one of the nicest most decent humans I ever met.
