Can you go over your preferred setup for shooting sticks/positions/gear for spot and stalk if you were stalking solo?Welcome to all my special kids trying to learn how to shoot more better. This will be a spot to ask questions, get made fun of, and learn.

Sorry Sean, did not see this earlier. I don’t advocate for head shots on any animals besides Yotes and Prarie Dogs. If the High Shoulder shot damages too much meat for you and mid lung shot has the least amount of meat around it.Uncle T,
I inherited my pop's .444 Marlin, and shot a forked-horn blacktail. It pulverized the meat.
Should I aim for the head or wait until I see a mature buck?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
good one and I can walk through how I use the ballistic computer to find the most effective battle sight zeroI’d like to see a video of your setup and method for hunting the medium 450 ish and in distances. Yep, I can make one on non-standard shooting positions and hunt gear for different terrainsCan you go over your preferred setup for shooting sticks/positions/gear for spot and stalk if you were stalking solo?
Bullet selection and construction is on my list. Lots of options and I’ve seen some less than ideal selections for animals.Bullet geeking:
Penetration vs expansion
Small caliber 22 and 243 vs 7mm and 30 cal
Lead cup&core/bonded/partition vs mono expanding/ fracturing
The effects on animals. Time to incapacitation. Effective range etc
Basically what are experience you are able to share from personal experiences that others may not have.

First step is to sign upo for my classes which I know you're coming to South Dakota so you are on the right track. I can do a video on my basics for the range and then get into how to put the pieces together.Start with the basics! Really want is all the equipment to have? Ammo info, bullet speed, wind readers? Great to know, one less thing I need to upgrade. I take mine out to 600 yards regularly at 1.5MOA and I know I am not giving it its full capability.with some sciencing I took my 16" Fix to 2000yds so yes its very capable
