What’s your favorite piece of FE clothing?

Patteson jacket...and not just because I took a class from Doug but because its windstopper and water repellent nature is a fantastic shoulder season item but because at $100ish it outclasses and outpaces similar items I have from NF and others at a significantly lower price point.

A toss up between the Venter and the Gin shirt. If I could replace my current wardrobe with only shirts made of the same material of the Gin and Mexican wedding shirts, I would. The venter excels on days when clouds are scarce or when the breeze has a bite to it.

Being a female, the options are slim (not a fan of women cut t-shirts). But I "borrow" my teens Choona in the summer more often than not. Both my husband and teen have the Venter Hoodie, and I think it's my favorite FE item they wear...oh and their vellies.

I will tell you that IF Field Ethos had an blaze orange trucker style hat with a cool patch on the front and Field Ethos spelled out on the back, it'd be my favorite during bird season. I have been switching back and forth from a number of orange hunting hats and none have really grabbed my full attention. An orange hat based on either of the FE Pilsner, 70s, or Rover hat would be awesome to sport and add sweat stains to it.

Agreed it’s difficult to find a blaze orange hat that looks cool, but I have full confidence FE could pull it off. I think the irony of the “Safety Third” hat in blaze orange would be a big hit.

Gin shirt… the runs are different. I have 3 and the first run way shorter and length and fabric feels a bit different.

The unstructured Safety Third hat surprisingly became my favorite piece of FE Clothing and favorite hat period. I bought it hoping it would fit my fat head, and surprisingly it fits beautifully. I forget its there and it has become my go-to.

Hands down my Safety Third hat, damn baboon steals the f'er all the time. He was pleading with HR to save him right before he got knocked on his ass by a 300WM. He'd probably steal my Defund HR tshirt if he could get his hands on it. Damn thing is always drunk on Michters bourbon...different story for another time though.

Just received the Patteson jacket the other day; @6'5" and about 270 the XXL is perfect layering (5 down to -15) Arctery'x puffy under the Patteson, under a Carhartt barn coat; great fit.

The shell is slick for rain repellant and sliding around in the cockpit, belly pockets external and internal are NICE and deeep, the single chest pocket is great, and the micro fleece liner is almost like a mole skin. BONUS; even with the Carhartt barn coat open/off, the FN 5.7 in Kusiak with sidecar AIWB does NOT print. That may be as much to the Kusiak as the Patteson, but it's a knowledge info plus.
