I live in Lane Oklahoma where I was raised. We run cattle as well as train and sell rope horses. 3rd generation to do it on this place, and raising a 4th.

My wife and I both rodeo, which leads us all over the US. In recent years I’ve slowed down some on the rodeos, and am able to hunt much more. Looking forward to the places it takes me in the future.

Located in Central Oregon. Retired LE, prior military and technical scuba instructor. Hunt upland game with two Springers. Maintain the property that my wife and I have next to both our children, their spouses and four grand children. Blessed living!

I live outside Marysville, OH and am an IT manager. I have 3 kids and spend my free time playing with them or shuttling them to sports, completing home projects my wife comes up with, or tinkering with my bows if outside hunting season.

Currently living on the outskirts of Reno, NV towards Pyramid Lake with the giant cutthroat trout. Try to get out kayak fishing on lakes or crabbing in Bodega Bay when can. Usually go bowhunt early season for mule deer in the high country. Run chukar and quail with my gsp. Go to Africa as often as I can.

Former horseshoer, cowboyed for a bit, hotshot for the forest service, lived all over the west. Married to a great woman and father to a splendid 11yr old daughter.

Build custom rifles including the FE Adventure Rifle and big bore revolvers for the adventurous soul. Appreciate all the support from this community.

Currently outside of Pittsburgh PA. Married to an amazing woman and a new dad to a 5 month old girl. She's taking up a lot of my time now. I like to rifle and archery hunt for big woods whitetail when I can. And getting to my family's camp every chance I get. I love getting up there and just putzing around, cutting and stacking wood or just sitting out back. Image (21).jpg

Hi,
Originally from UK but currently living on the South Island in New Zealand, although been here 20 years have been back to UK a few times for work.
Moved south again recently so need to re establish all my kit, hopefully will get back out in those mountains for some red deer and tahr goat hunting this summer.

I'm a web-footed Washingtonian. I did most of my hunting in Eastern Wa 20 years ago but have been slowly getting back into it with my middle child who catches fish and birds with his bare hands. Six years ago my family of five decided to move out of a condo into our vacation cabin. We have a few acres and a river in our backyard. Bear, deer and cougar travel through our property. I've been a money courier, helped a friend start up an apiary and another stand up a home maintenance business until I settled down to teach 5th grade at a small private school in a nearby town. It's been the best career change, if not financially, for my mind and for culture building. I enjoy cigars and craft whiskey on my front porch.

I live in Western Wyoming and have an obsession for hunting and shooting. Some of my favorite things are killing big Mulies, Booner antelope, big bulls and following my GSP for chukars and hun's across wind swept basins.

Hello Shane,

Jacob Johnson here, I’m born and raised in northern Iowa and when I’m not out there teaching the elderly how the internet works, I enjoy hunting and shooting. Haven’t got time for many other hobbies, but I fear my daughter is going to drag me down the fishing rabbit hole soon.

I am also the host of the Victory Drive Podcast, it’s a firearms/hunting podcast that actually fits right in with Field Ethos which is cool. I enjoy hunting all over the world after being bitten by the African bug a few years ago.

Hello everyone, I’m Matthew Kleiner and live in Minnesota. Spend most of my time with the family hunting, camping and traveling in our spare time. Whitetail here is pretty good. I hunt mostly public land. Every year I spend a week an Alpena SD area hunting pheasants with friends. The record for pheasants killed in a week is 128. Spent my youth in North Carolina chasing whitetails, miss the population sizes there. And lastly miss Arizona elk and quail, never a dull moment out there.

Merry Christmas gentlemen. I’m Rob from Northeast Ohio. I teach 10th grade US History. Married for 15 years and have a 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son. Born and raised hunting, trapping and fishing. Archery for whitetail, spring turkey, and catching a bucket of bluegill on the ice are some of my favorite things to do. Waterfowl and any other birds I can find with my Pudelpointer take up most of my late fall and winter. I’ve been following this crew since before the first print journal was shipped and have loved every article and post. Keep em coming!

Small world Brian! I work for Scotts, I am SE of Columbus but get up to Marysville frequently.

Between my kid’s school and activities I try to hunt deer, waterfowl, and fish. Made my first trip to South Africa in August and can’t wait to get back!

My main gig is a real estate broker, but I’ve been making kitchen and hunting knives in my garage since 2022. The rest of my time is with my wife and kids at my son’s BJJ gym, and mentoring my church’s youth students. 🤙🏽

Southwest Ga. Blip of a town named Bronwood. Grow cotton, corn, peanuts and cattle.

I deer and turkey hunt. Turkey season is everything though. Shoot deer now mainly because they are wreaking havoc on the crops more and more as each year passes. Next goal is to call-in a gobbler for my Dad as he has never killed one or hunted turkeys for that matter. LFG gentlemen!

My name’s Corey. I’m based just outside San Antonio, Texas. When I’m not working, I’m usually chasing the next excuse to be outside—hunting, overlanding, camping, or running a range day teaching people how to shoot. If I’m not in the field, I’m probably playing bass at church or writing about the kind of adventures that still test a man and leave a mark. I believe in getting your hands dirty, learning by doing, and living a life that gives you something worth writing about.
