the 8.6 BLK is by far the most fun and interesting cartridge I've shot in a long time. I've been diving into subsonic at longer ranges and its a challenge but very doable with quality ammunition.

Well either way you need one because it’s a super fun range toy. From a practical aspect and if you hunt, it’s a devastatingly effective subsonic round.

Uncle T I have a confirmed first round impact at 450 yards on a coyote , with Just cause subsonics out of my FIX , 61 MOA of adjustment

What is a good upper that doesn't break the bank? I think I would want a 16" barrel.

I built my gas gun on a Sfar frame with a mos-Tec barrel

Are the sound levels about the same as a 300 blackout? I have shot some suppressed subs out of a 350 legend and they are pretty damn loud.

Yes my experience with the short chop and subs is that it is more quiet than my .300 black with a deadair sandman
