I'll splurge on Volcanica for the holidays(Thanksgiving/Christmas)
Costa Rican coffee is delicious. I'm not sure I've had one I didn't like.

I like caffeine more than I like the coffee so mine gets enough heavy cream to look like
Chocolate milk. Pour over is the only way wi go. We use a local Des Moines brand.

Just Starbucks from Costco, 2 1/2 # bag of whole beans usually pretty cheap; whisk in some honey, a pinch of cayenne, and whisk some more....

I'm on the subscription deal with Black Rifle, which sends a different coffee every shipment. Currently drinking their Thin Blue Line Roast, which is, like all of their coffees, damn good.

Always black.

where are you sourcing the smoked sea salt? sounds intersting and worth a try.
It’s sold in our farmers market locally. It’s a WV salt mine. Here’s the info. All their salt or salt/seasoning blends are awesome. Highly recommend the Ramp blend if you like ramps (EDITED NOTE: not in your coffee. Ramp seasoning would be gross there. On steaks through… Mmmmmm…).

BRCC Tactisquatch for me. I grind it fresh each morning and make it in a Breville coffee maker. When I'm in the field, I make it in an Aero Press. Nothing goes in my coffee, pure black and unadulterated

I'll drink anything from the most foo-foo fancy coffee to gas station sludge.

The best cup is cowboy coffee. Dumping the grounds right in the water and letting it boil. Sprinkle some cold water on it when it's done, which makes the grounds shoot to the bottom, and then carefully pour a mug. Preferably over a fire.
