Saw a headline that Idaho is asking for help to name its state gun. What state do you live in and what would be your pick for your state gun?

It’s also the home of Jack O’Connor which would point to the Winchester M70 in .270.ID is the home of Elmer Keith, so I would hope it’s either the No. 5 or the M29.
Or the Colt Peacekeeper.Wyoming should have the Winchester 1894, in 30-30. For Tom Horn, if no other reason. I'm a bit surprised WY does not have a state firearm.
"This ballot measure is sponsored by Super Soaker"California's state gun should be a water pistol. One that leaks and doesn't squirt well
Either that or a Glock 17 with a switch and extended magazine
Sharing this with my friend that moved to ID. Tough choices, toss up between the 1894 and the 1873 for me. Peacemaker to the head, I guess I'd go with the 1873, as it pre-dates Idaho becoming a state.HAD to look this up, pretty dang cool if you ask me.....
